Pemba – Palma Trip

I have to admit that I have a problem with cities. Of all the world 🙂
Now that we have arrived in Palma, an area of villages with less traffic, less people, more open space, panoramas as far as the eye can see and no skyscrapers, I feel better, I like it more like this!
It ‘s all much quieter. Only that you cannot go round the hotel: danger! snakes!
Palma Residence of Palma is like this: inside it is elegant and clean, outside the most uncontaminated nothingness. And you are in Mozambique, here you can meet a lion in the middle of the uncontaminated surroundings!
Tomorrow morning the real second mission in Mozambique of the project begins. We have to select between 6 and 8 actors to take to Italy and we must try to find ideas for the show. We are not to look for the real plot, this is a task that we will do during the internship, but rather to look for the comic elements of the Mozambican theater.
Rambo, this is your mission!
When I think back to the first meetings of this project, to the uncertainty of “what am I supposed to do here?”, it makes me laugh.
Who else could have accepted to go to Africa to find out what entertains them?!? After almost 15 years, or maybe more, of “Cocoa, the newspaper of the good humorous news” of Jacopo Fo, I know how to do it.
I do know how to do it, right?
Do you want to know another thing I love about this place? Television. Three / four sports channels, one dedicated almost exclusively to rugby (thanks to the South African influence ). There are rugby matches from morning to night, continuously.
Are you stressed? You watch 15 minutes of hip-checks and head-butting and you feel better. They should make it a world law!
