We all go shopping!

The request was simple: “Will you take us to a shopping centre?”
No problem at all! A round of phone calls, logistics organised, and off we go!
Direction: the Perugia Shopping centre with subsequent visit to the city.
I thought the group would just look around…how wrong I was!
Trying on clothes, shoes, 15 minutes in a costume jewellery shop where with 8 Euro we almost managed to fill a bag…
I enjoyed being the bag carrier of Arlete, who was clearly in a confused state because of the shopping. We spent a quarter of an hour, I think, in front of a sweatshirt with a famous sports brand, and when she told me she wanted it for her son but didn’t have enough money I couldn’t resist, so I bought it for her (not buying it would have meant spending another 15 minutes there!).
You should have seen their faces in the phone/technology department! They couldn’t afford anything but they knew perfectly every model of smartphone on sale!
We had decided to meet at the exit at 5.45, but at 6.20 there was still no-one in sight. We managed to leave just before 7 pm!
After the spending spree we went to Perugia, Rocca Paolina and Corso Vannucci, with Mario Pirovano acting as guide (no-one else could have done it better).
The nicest comment? “It’s all so clean!”
They are also amazed by the buildings, because completely made of stone.
